Turkey, Belek | Area Guide
The Mediterranean's Fastest Growing Golf Resort
Turkey is geographically, politically and officially part of two continents - Europe and Asia. The smaller northwestern portion (Thrace) is part of Europe, while the larger portion (Anatolia) is part of Asia. As exotic and riveting tourism destinations go, some say it has no peer.
Belek
Antalya is one of the most beautiful provinces of Turkey on the Mediterranean coast in South Anatolia.
Belek is an up and coming resort town in the Atalya province offering dazzling white sandy beaches and ancient sites like the great amphitheatre of Aspendos, still used today for concerts, festivals and events.
Its year round warm climate, laid back lifestyle and great facilities means it’s easy to stay fit and healthy here and, if you want to improve your handicap, Belek has thirteen golf clubs, two of which are championship level courses.
Climate
Belek really is a heavenly place where the summer season is about 8-9 months long. The climate of Belek is typical Mediterranean: hot and dry in summers (often rising above 30 degrees) and temperate and rainy in winters. Sunshine is guaranteed from April to October and the winters are pleasantly mild.
